How Do I Get Started?
No pre-enrollment is necessary.
All that is necessary to begin attending Recovery Alaska is to come to Room 207 at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings.
Where is Recovery Alaska Located?
Recovery Alaska is a ministry of, and meets in the facilities of, Anchorage Baptist Temple located at 6401 E. Northern Lights Blvd. Anchorage, AK. The ministry meets in Room 207 at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings.
How Often Does Recovery Alaska Meet?
Recovery Alaska meets every Thursday evening with the exception of Thanksgiving. The groups are designed so that a person may begin his/her road to recovery at anytime; you do not need to wait for a start date to begin your recovery.
Is There a Cost for Recovery Alaska?
Recovery Alaska does not charge for the ministry. Free-will offerings are received on Thursday evenings. God has been faithful, and those who have attended Recovery Alaska have been faithful in giving toward our needs.
Is Recovery Alaska Confidential?
Confidentiality when possible and anonymity is very important to Recovery Alaska. We strive to maintain an atmosphere of trust whereby growth and recovery can be facilitated. Under Federal and State Law certain events must be reported, i.e. harm to self or others, physical or sexual abuse of minors or elders, etc. Please see “Group Guidelines.
What Materials Will I Need for My Recovery Group?
Each group offered at Recovery Alaska has a specific workbook. These workbooks are available for purchase at our Resource Table in Room 207 on Thursday evenings. Prices for the workbooks vary from $6.00 to $14.00.
